PTAP Banner

PTAP strives to keep program processes as simple as possible and bureaucracy to a minimum. To participate in the program an academic researcher has to submit the following two items:

We request that proposals be short - no more than 3 pages plus two appendices. We also suggest that proposals be written by students and reviewed by faculty. This process provides an excellent teaching experience for students.

Who can participate?

PTAP has two types of participants: Recipients and Providers.

Recipients can be faculty and researchers at U.S. academic institutions and not-for-profit organizations. Faculty and researchers at non-U.S. academic institutions or any commercial entity cannot participate as recipients.

Anyone can participate as a Provider. This includes U.S. and foreign commercial entities, U.S. and foreign universities, and not-for-profit organizations.
